Scalpers can make thousands of trades in a given trading period.\u00a0There are three characteristics of scalping strategies: short positions, small profit margins, and high levels of leverage.\u00a0Scalpers seek to target price gaps and other short-term trading “gaps” that allow them to quickly turn large positions for profit.<\/span><\/p>\n

To find opportunities for scalping, you need to start by choosing some key technical indicators.\u00a0These indicators can help you determine when short-term price gaps are likely to occur.<\/span><\/p>\n

Because scalpers focus on short-term positions with low profit margins, the best scalping strategies (like the Triple S strategy mentioned below) require some leverage.\u00a0It is recommended that scalpers start with a large amount of capital.\u00a0Opening and closing larger positions allows you to reduce the marginal cost of trading and maximize profit potential.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is the Volume indicator for Forex?\u00a0How does it work?<\/span><\/p>\n

To get started, here’s what it looks like:<\/span><\/p>\n

The volume indicator can be interpreted as “the oil tank of the main trading machine.”\u00a0Some argue that the volume indicator should not be used with trading in the forex market.\u00a0This is because there is no “central exchange” so how can it be read effectively?\u00a0Another argument is that the number of trades you see for Forex is the number of “Ticks” that occur.\u00a0This means you don’t see the entire volume of trades being traded at a time like you would with a stock.<\/span><\/p>\n

The number of flashes is measured by how much the price has marked “up” or “down” in that particular candle bar.\u00a0Therefore, the more people who enter at that time, the more volume lines will be.\u00a0This is because there will be more movement in the price action with all the entry orders coming in.\u00a0So it makes sense that the volume indicator is, firstly, very accurate, and secondly has no real lag.\u00a0At this time, you show you what price action is doing the number of “ticks” on the candle bar.\u00a0This causes the bar to look like this:<\/span><\/p>\n

Scalping is suitable for day traders and individuals who are able to make important decisions in a short period of time.\u00a0Usually, you won’t have much time to conduct thorough fundamental and technical analysis while scalping.\u00a0Movements are constantly changing and prices are constantly being \u201ccorrected.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Whether you’re trading EUR:USD, other currency pairs, or other assets outside of forex, it’s important to pay attention to the details.\u00a0Scalping usually occurs in 5-20 minute increments.\u00a0However, if you are trying to implement a one-minute scalping strategy, volume indicators, M5 \/ M15 time charts, and price action trends should be the first thing you look at.<\/span><\/p>\n

Triple S Scalping Strategy Rules \u2013 The Best Scalping System<\/span><\/h2>\n

Side Note ** Since you are all down to the M5 or M15 time chart price is very sensitive to any and all news.\u00a0Therefore, I would not use this strategy 30 minutes before and after a major news announcement.\u00a0To find out if there is a news announcement just check here to confirm!<\/span><\/p>\n

Method 1: Use the Best scalping strategy indicator: Volume<\/span><\/h2>\n

Any trading system platform is fine because the Volume Indicator comes standard on all trading systems (platforms).<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 2: Go to M5 or M15 Time Chart<\/span><\/h2>\n

In this M5 time chart, we look at the USDJPY pair.<\/span><\/p>\n

What you want to look for first is if the volume indicator is showing any trends, reversals, or unstable price action.\u00a0If the volume indicator increases, so does the price action.\u00a0This is because there is a lot of interest in the currency pair.<\/span><\/p>\n

As soon as you see a drop in the volume indicator, you know that there are more or less “lice” and therefore less interest in the trend.\u00a0The strategy we want to focus mainly on is trend trading.\u00a0You can use the volume indicator for reversal trading.\u00a0But that’s not something we’re interested in with this strategy.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step #3 The Best Control System is Analyzing Volume Indicators: Look for a healthy Uptrend or Downtrend.\u00a0Look for pullbacks in Price action and wait for Volume to Slow down or \u201cCalm down.\u201d<\/span><\/h2>\n

The volume indicator should tell you a large amount of information.\u00a0If you see a volume indicator do this:<\/span><\/p>\n

You know that a trend is either:<\/span><\/p>\n

A. Dead and headed for reversal.<\/span><\/p>\n

B. Take a break before continuing up.<\/span><\/p>\n

In this case, it takes a break.\u00a0There are few buyers and sellers at that time (traders make trading decisions).\u00a0Then they take it and go straight up.\u00a0Our strategy takes advantage of this pullback before the price action continues to rise in this example.<\/span><\/p>\n

So in this analysis step to the strategy you need to check the volume indicator.\u00a0Based on what you know now, make good trading decisions based on current price action.<\/span><\/p>\n

Using our example, you should see a steady uptrend followed by a retracement\/retracement phase.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step # 4 Once you see Volume Rise \/ Spike (after slowdown) Make Your Trading Decision Based on Current Price Action: Best Scalping System<\/span><\/h2>\n

This part is up to you.\u00a0There are no \u201cline intersections,\u201d \u201carrows appear\u201d or \u201clittle voices telling you to buy now!\u201d\u00a0You should understand a little about how price action works before you decide on your entry.\u00a0Using our example, the Volume indicator drops drastically which means the trader is getting action and thus driving the price up!<\/span><\/p>\n

Once you see this big spike or see that the volume indicator is showing that there is some action going your way you want to get ready to enter this BUY trade because everything is pointing up.<\/span><\/p>\n

Entry \/ Exit Strategy for Simple Scalping Strategy<\/span><\/h2>\n

With the current structure of this trade, it makes sense that as we see our \u201cspike\u201d in the volume indicator and it breaks this small retracement trend we pull the trigger and enter the buy!<\/span><\/p>\n

Your exit strategy is simple.\u00a0You go for 10-20 pips.\u00a0Also, You Place a stop stop of 5-8 pips.\u00a0Once you are up 10 pips move your stop loss up to 5 pips to lock in a small profit (unless the spread is so big that it will most likely break later.)<\/span><\/p>\n

This 20 pips in less than 5 minutes will not happen every time, but when it does it will definitely make you smile\u00a0<\/span>🙂. The reason we say go for 10-20 pips is for cases like this where you see a big jump after a major trend pullback.\u00a0You don’t want to go out too early.<\/span><\/p>\n

Consider this strategy on any major currency pair and you should see some great results!<\/span><\/p>\n

** The SELL trading rules will be the same, just against your chart.\u00a0(IE doesn’t start with an uptrend first it will be a downtrend instead)<\/span><\/p>\n
