Ayrex is a relatively new binary options firm, first going live with their platform in 2014. Its main selling points are customer service and innovative technology. They pride themselves on a “no lag, freeze or touch” platform. In terms of customer service, they aim for fast payments, clear promotions and do not lock merchant deposits. The brand is operated by Advanced Binary Technologies Ltd, based in St Kitts.
One of the main attractions of Ayrex is the free registration, demo account. The full platform can be used with demo funds – real prices, real assets – without the need to register or supply any contact details. Ayrex is so confident in their platform, they have opened it up to any trader, completely free. The firm is currently unregulated, but has applied to CySec and wants to have it before 2016. Despite the lack of regulation, the company enjoys a reputation for good customer service.
Ayrex trading platform
The Ayrex trading platform provides a traditional trading area, with all the necessary data for traders. The platform is not too different from other brokers, but the layout is clear and easy to use. Dealers will have some complaints about usability.
The left side of the trading area shows the price chart for the currently selected asset. The time frame can be amended, and there is a button that will return the trader back to a specific point on the timeline – the latest quote for example. Users can zoom in and out to reflect larger or smaller time periods. It can also be switched between display types (Area or Candlestick).
The right side of the platform contains the trade button. The selection types are listed at the top of the screen. Ayrex offers ‘Short term’, ‘High/Low’ and ‘Touch’ binary option types.
Below this type is a list of assets. Grouped by category (stocks, spot FX, Equity indices and commodities). Traders can open each category to show the full list of assets. The list of assets on Ayrex is comprehensive, and more importantly, the assets are always available, which shows that Ayrex has good trading volume across their platform.
Once the asset is selected, the price chart on the left will display the new data. The trading button will also be updated. This is just to the left of the asset list. Traders can amend the trade size, and expiration time with the fields above the Call and Put button. The potential payout is shown above the ‘Buy Options’ button – the ‘result’ label, and the current strike price is also shown above the trade size box, and again on the price chart. As the trader moves the cursor over the ‘Call’ or ‘Put’ button, the price graph will display the price direction that needs to be moved (in green). This reduces the risk of trades being placed in error.
Once the ‘Buy Options’ button is clicked, the trade will appear in the ‘Open Positions’ window, located below the trade button. Below the price graph, traders can see the history of expired, settled and closed trades. There are also ‘News’ and ‘Signals’ pages here, helping traders to stay up to date on other trading options.
All in all trading platforms are very good. It’s not cluttered, but still shows all the right data. One potential improvement is if the platform is more configurable – perhaps giving the ability to trade more than one asset at a time on the same screen.
List of Ayrex assets and trading types
Ayrex offers three types of binary options:
- Short term – Binary options with short expiration times, usually 5 minutes or less (up to 30 seconds).
- High / Low – Standard binary. Ayrex has an expiration every 15 minutes, up to an hour.
- One Touch – Ayrex offers Touch and No Touch options at both the above and below prices. Sometimes “No Touch” may not be available, and ‘One Touch’ is generally only available on major currency pairs.
The asset list on Ayrex is excellent. All major Forex pairs are listed, including various stocks and indices. Commodities are also available, including Oil, Gold and even Natural Gas and Palladium.
The trade size limits on Ayrex ($5 to $1000), and the general ‘feel’ of the site show that Ayrex manages risk very closely. For relatively new brokers, it also seems likely that they will add more assets and option types as they see higher levels of traders and trading volumes. So if traders want border or ladder options, they may not have to wait too long before they are added to the Ayrex platform.
Ayrex for Android and iOS
Ayrex released the latest versions of ‘Ayrex for Android’ and ‘Ayrex for iOS’ in the spring of 2016. The mobile trading app mirrors the website platform, with various options and markets available to trade online.
The feedback for the app has been good and the app is always maintained. Android version requires version 4.1 and above. iOS version requires version 9.0 and higher, but works across multiple iOS (iPhone, iPad and iPod touch).
Payment
Ayrex payouts are pretty good, reaching 85% for popular assets. As always, fees will vary by asset and expiration time, but Ayrex remains competitive with other firms on most assets. Touch payouts are strong, up to 80% for both Touch and No Touch trades.
Ayrex production
Withdrawal will take 3 days to process. Brokers like Ayrex will always need some time to comply with money laundering laws. One important thing to remember is that Ayrex will make payments back to the source that made the original deposit. Merchants should take this into account when making advance payments.
Where deposits are made via more than one method, Ayrex will process any withdrawals via the deposit method used. The minimum withdrawal is $5 (equal to the minimum deposit). Merchants can make one free withdrawal per calendar month. Subsequent withdrawals will pay a commission based on the processing fee for that payment.
Deposits can be made with Neteller, Skrill, Visa, FastPay and Union. When a deposit is made, traders can choose their bonus level to take – offers ranging from 10% to 30%. The deposit will have terms and conditions attached, including a turnover requirement before withdrawals are allowed. Traders should consider their intended trading volume and frequency, and then which bonus level will work best for them – without causing a change in their trading style. Bonuses can be canceled at any time.
Other features
- Contests – Ayrex runs regular, free to enter, merchant contests, with prize money available. There are 3 rounds a week, with 8 winners and $3600 in prize money. Demo account users can also enter the ‘Blast Blast’ contest at no cost.
- $30 Bonus – Ayrex does not offer a deposit bonus as an alternative to a deposit match, offering traders $30 to trade.
Ayrex no deposit bonus
- $30 No deposit bonus
- Trade through bonus 30 times
- Withdraw up to $200
- Traders are still free to enter the Ayrex contest
- Traders must register a deposit method (Paying $10) to then withdraw the bonus funds
Although the profit can be withdrawn at $ 200, Ayrex gives new traders $ 30 with new traders. The offer is still open to those who have opened an account – as long as they have not made a deposit, or taken any other bonus. To take advantage of the offer, traders need to visit the specific No Deposit Bonus landing page.
During the promotion, the trading area will have a slight difference to the standard screen. The maximum trade is held to $30 and the Deposit/Withdrawal button is removed until the earning criteria is met.
